What you will do

• Prepare molds and forms, mark and cut composite materials like tape, woven fabric, honeycomb, and adhesives per templates.
• Route, drill, trim, sand to blueprint dimensions, operate vacuum press, and lay up materials to molds.
• Fit and smooth layers to avoid wrinkles, air pockets, and voids.
• Assemble aircraft components using adhesives, rivets, and fasteners.
• Prepare surfaces, perform bodywork, contour shaping, sanding, and spray apply epoxy paints and coatings.
• Check material expiration, mix resins and catalysts, maintain records, and ensure work area orderliness.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a loud environment with epoxy agents and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent and five or more years of related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, comprehend instructions, perform basic math, and verbally communicate.
• Proficient with hand tools (rollers, cutters, knives, heat gun), measuring instruments (scales, protractors, calipers), and shop tools (band saws, sanders, drill press).
• May require respirator certification; able to work extended hours.
