What you will do

• Prepare surfaces of metal, plastic, or composite components using sanding, grinding, blasting, or cleaning.
• Perform masking, degreasing, and quality inspections prior to finishing or coating.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized surface preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Maintain assigned equipment and adhere to 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve departmental targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• USA Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.

Nice to have

• Experience working with precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, etc.).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
