Salary: $74,100 ($35.62/hr)

What you will do

• Review project plans and drawings to identify required permits.
• Determine internal resources and communicate with agencies for permit approvals.
• Prepare and submit permit applications, track status, and report to stakeholders.
• Act as point of contact for permit-related questions and provide approved permits to teams.
• Develop relationships with permitting staff and mentor entry-level specialists.
• Address unfavorable permit conditions and support new processes.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree
• 3+ years in permitting, planning, engineering, construction, inspection, utility design, or project management support
• Experience acquiring encroachment, excavation, and traffic control permits
• Proficient interfacing with governmental agencies
• Work within construction timelines with personnel and clients
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
