TL;DR

HR Generalist II: Provide strategic and hands-on HR support to advance business objectives, including employee relations, full-cycle recruitment, compensation, benefits, payroll administration, and compliance. with an accent on partnering with leaders and employees to reinforce performance expectations and drive accountability. Focus on facilitating onboarding, maintaining HRIS and payroll data integrity, supporting HR projects, and ensuring policy compliance.

Location: On-site role based out of the Mississauga office, Canada

What you will do

  • Serve as primary point of contact for HR policies, procedures, and employee inquiries.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including postings, screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment checks.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Administer benefits, support compensation processes, and maintain HRIS and payroll data.
  • Participate in HR projects like engagement, DEI, wellness, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Requirements

  • University or College degree/diploma in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of HR experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong knowledge of HR Systems (UltiPro, SAP Success Factors).
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, recruiting practices, and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and team player mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience in ISO9001, 14001, 13485 certified, or FDA QSR compliant environment.
