What you will do

• Develop firmware for communication interfaces, GUI interfaces, and particle counting functionality as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Create requirements, design documentation, and engineering reference materials.
• Manage complex user stories, define technical approaches, and architect reusable object-oriented C++ solutions.
• Leverage modern tools and technologies for innovative firmware development.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Evaluate and improve development processes for efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience; 2+ years as technical lead
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and authoring technical requirements
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Rust; solid object-oriented design principles
• Experience developing on Embedded Linux; proficiency with version control and defect tracking
• Ability to read schematic diagrams; strong communication skills

Nice to have

• Yocto build, Linux kernel/driver development
• Tools like Git, Jira, DevSuite, Jama
• QT or other GUI frameworks; ARM-based SoC firmware
• TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth protocols; cybersecurity principles
• Exposure to AI/ML algorithm selection and implementation
