TL;DR

Partner 22, Executive Talent Partner (G&A): Assess, build, and manage a network of emerging finance, legal, and operations leaders at Manager to Director level with an accent on engaging, career coaching, and hosting events for high-potential talent. Focus on counseling portfolio companies on hiring processes, accelerating time-to-hire, partnering with search firms, and expanding the firm network.

Location: Based out of San Francisco Bay Area offices (Menlo Park or San Francisco, California, United States)

Salary: $239,000 - $278,000

What you will do

  • Build out the G&A Talent Network by engaging, assessing, career coaching talent, and hosting events; become the go-to advisor for the network.
  • Counsel portfolio companies on hiring processes to build world-class management teams and accelerate time-to-hire using best practices and the network.
  • Partner with and grow relationships with top search firms.
  • Expand the a16z network, connect with industry leaders, and identify investment opportunities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting for G&A leaders
  • Ability to influence and partner with Founders, CEOs, and executives
  • Passion for and experience building a network of diverse talent
  • Experience developing relationships with director/manager level talent, search firms, and staffing organizations
  • Strong network in the technology sector
  • Experience in assessment, recruitment, team building, compensation trends, and benchmarking
  • Proven track record managing fast-paced workloads and multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in clear, concise written communication
