What you will do

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work for major or moderate-scope projects.
• Perform structural design using conventional practices, addressing material limitations, conflicting requirements, and coordination needs.
• Apply knowledge of industrial structural design to recommend improvements and procedural changes.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, reports, and documentation.
• Supervise or guide junior engineers and technicians.
• Review project progress, update leadership, and ensure alignment with goals and safety.
• Travel to project sites (up to 25%) for inspections, evaluations, and coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis; Master’s equivalent to 1 year experience.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and foundation design; masonry and wood a plus.
• Ability to independently execute calculations, designs, and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with structural specialty or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
