Salary: $100,000 - $145,000 a year

What you will do

• Lead the structural design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation structures.
• Perform bridge inspections according to FHWA, AASHTO, and state DOT standards.
• Conduct load ratings, structural evaluations, and develop rehabilitation or repair recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, design plans, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Review contractor submittals and provide engineering support throughout the construction phase.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven experience in bridge design and/or inspection.
• Strong technical expertise in structural engineering and project management.
• Ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners and construction professionals.
