What you will do

• Execute structural analysis, calculations, sketches, and drawings for substation equipment supports and foundations.
• Lead structural efforts on Engineering Services and EPC substation projects, including specifications and procurement.
• Supervise structural engineers and technicians in the US and overseas for drawings and specifications.
• Perform construction phase duties like site visits, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, manage project administrative tasks, and provide technical guidance on standards.
• Implement resource management for small teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support EOR requirements.
• All applicants must complete pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
• Ability to collect data, perform research, develop recommendations, and work within budget/schedule/quality.

Nice to have

• Active PE License.
• Intermediate knowledge of structural engineering principles.
• Experience with 3D software like RISA 3D, STAAD Pro; foundation software like LPile, RISA Foundation.
• Structural connection calculations using Excel/Mathcad.
• Experience in utility-scale electrical substations, renewables, or similar.
