What you will do
- Lead end-to-end development of commercial recommendations from problem framing to executive decision.
- Own commercial models and business cases, including assumptions, sensitivities, and implications.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready messages for senior stakeholders.
- Shape and land decisions across customer-facing units while managing conflicting incentives.
- Retain accountability for commercial outcomes and track value realization.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations under uncertainty rather than deferring to further analysis.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK with the ability to work from London or Manchester.
- Demonstrated ownership of commercially significant decisions like pricing or capital allocation.
- Experience forming clear recommendations in situations with ambiguous or imperfect data.
- Ability to synthesize complex problems into concise, executive-ready narratives.
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders across different business units.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to balance evidence, risk, and uncertainty.
Nice to have
- Background in strategy roles within telecoms, technology, or capital-intensive industries.
- High emotional intelligence and adaptive communication style.
- Experience leading pricing or investment decisions with P&L impact.
- Ability to translate customer, market, and financial insights into strategic decisions.
