Lab Technician

Location: Trumbull, Connecticut, United States; onsite work in a pilot plant is required

Salary: $52,000 per year

What you will do

• Test cleansing formulations using established laboratory procedures.
• Evaluate, collect, record, summarize, and report test data.
• Create documentation, charts, and tables to communicate project results.
• Document production of liquid cleansing products and maintain FDA paper files and laboratory records.
• Unpack, label, check, store, and move products into heated temperature-controlled chambers.
• Organize returned FDA products and maintain files by year and unique FDA documentation.

Requirements

• Some laboratory experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols and safe laboratory practices.
• Ability to stand and work in the pilot plant for most of the day.
