Salary: $42,700.00–$89,000.00 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Prepare biological samples for downstream analysis using extractions from biological matrices, tissue preparation, and purification techniques.
• Prepare solutions and reagents, perform routine testing, and troubleshoot routine experiments.
• Document testing, observations, calculations, and data in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify unusual results or performance errors and escalate them to senior laboratory personnel.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, housekeeping, and 6S standards.
• Communicate project information with cross-functional stakeholders and support training and onboarding of junior staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with pipetting and routine laboratory calculations for batches and specimens.
• Experience with biological matrix extractions, tissue preparation, purification, and/or automated instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical handling.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, plus the ability to work in a LIMS-enabled workflow.
