What you will do

• Formulate and synthesize polymers under supervision.
• Test adhesives and evaluate performance characteristics of coated substrates.
• Collect, record, and summarize experimental data in laboratory notebooks.
• Prepare coated samples using lab coating equipment.
• Enter data into computers, including charts and tables for project communication.
• Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of laboratory experience
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Ability to communicate well in spoken and written English
• Comfortable working with chemicals following safe laboratory practices
• Able to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day
