Associate Scientist (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Conduct research and development activities using established laboratory methodologies.
• Support the development of chemical and biological sensors, assays, and reagents for clinical analyzers and instrumentation.
• Perform organic synthesis, prepare samples and reagents, and operate laboratory equipment.
• Characterize organic compounds using HPLC, FT-IR, and LC-MS/MS.
• Record, organize, evaluate, and summarize experimental data and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot routine laboratory or equipment problems, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with senior scientists and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
• 0–2+ years of relevant professional experience and hands-on laboratory experience in organic synthesis or a related field.
• Ability to perform laboratory procedures safely, operate equipment accurately, and work with chemicals or biological materials using required PPE.
• Ability to collect, organize, summarize, and communicate experimental data and findings.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with laboratory statistical programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with HPLC, FT-IR, and LC-MS/MS.
