Quality Lab Technician

Location: Greenville, Ohio 45331; on-site laboratory work with a 12-hour rotating shift covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays

What you will do

• Perform physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Use laboratory techniques including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), particle size analysis, density measurement, and viscosity testing.
• Document analytical data accurately according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Escalate out-of-specification materials to the QC Lab Supervisor for review.
• Manage laboratory consumables and complete routine troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Identify and implement improvements to laboratory functions while following quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mathematics and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and proper chemical handling, storage, use, and disposal.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedule flexibility for vacation coverage and occasional early-morning training responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a science field.
• Experience with HPLC, wet chemistry methods, microbiological analysis, and laboratory equipment.
