What you will do

• Manage accounts of major contractors, specialist subcontractors and distributors, building strong relationships.
• Secure product sales aligned with area targets and business strategy through structured professional presentations of design proposals and benefits.
• Champion Ancon & Halfen brands by gaining and maintaining product specifications.
• Advise on suitability and selection of Ancon & Halfen products for specific situations and applications.
• Provide general advice on performance and applications of Ancon components.
• Increase business opportunities through various routes to market and attend industry events as necessary.

Requirements

• Background in related construction industry, external sales experience, or relevant technical qualification (HNC Construction, BSc Eng) for graduates transitioning to external roles.
• Commercially led professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, good organisational skills, understanding of basic structural design principles, and ability to read construction drawings.
• Ability to work as part of a team with high self-motivation, willingness to succeed, and enthusiasm for business travel.
• Full UK driving license.
