Location: Remote ideally within the United Kingdom with frequent UK/international travel to meet customers and attend events.

What you will do
- Own and exceed sales targets by executing regional sales plans and acquiring new customers in Telco, AltNets, AI/DC providers, integrators, and VAR partners.
- Build long-term relationships with stakeholders in engineering, procurement, and sourcing; collaborate with R&D for customized transceiver solutions.
- Monitor industry trends like 400G/800G adoption, competitors, and pricing to inform strategy; maintain CRM pipeline and provide sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at trade shows and seminars; drive awareness through cold calling, end-users, and channel partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years B2B sales experience in optical connectivity, networking, or semiconductors with proven track record selling transceivers/components.
- Deep knowledge of fiber optic networks, transceiver form factors, MSA standards, and target markets (Telco, enterprise, datacentre).
- Bachelor’s in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics or related (Master’s/PhD preferred); vertical market expertise and sales fundamentals (funnel management, account planning, negotiation).
- Exceptional negotiation/presentation skills for C-level and engineering audiences; ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines.
