Accounts Payable Manager

What you will do

• Supervise AP team, vendor relations, disbursements, 1099 filings, and sales/use tax reconciliations.
• Hire, train, develop, and performance manage AP team members in partnership with HR.
• Perform data entry for invoices and PO receiving, ensure proper account/job/cost center allocation.
• Manage monthly AP close, reconcile GL accounts, vendor statements, and process expense reports.
• Develop and maintain AP processes, policies, and ERP document archiving.
• Assist with Q3/Q4 budget preparation, data entry, and resolving payment discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience; 2+ years supervising 1-4 people
• Proven job cost experience; construction industry preferred
• Knowledge of electronic payments, vendor releases, and California sales & use tax regulations
• Proficient/advanced in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software
