Location: Hybrid – Buffalo, NY (or any Moog site; remote location considered). Travel ~30-50%. Requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Salary: $225,000–$325,000 Annually (Buffalo, NY)

What you will do
- Develop and execute division-level growth strategies and lead annual strategic planning cycles.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and portfolio planning to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with Business Units, Program Management, Sales, Engineering, and Finance for alignment.
- Guide investment prioritization, B&P planning, and long-term opportunity development.
- Engage externally with customers, partners, and stakeholders at industry events.
- Track strategic metrics, lead reviews, and ensure governance of priority initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years in strategy, business development, market analysis, or related leadership
- 5+ years in strategic leadership with people management
- Strong background in Space, Defense, or Aerospace sectors
- Experience with portfolio planning, market modeling, forecasting, and investment prioritization
- Excellent communication and analytical skills for executive influence
