Focus on driving high-priority cross-functional initiatives, M&A evaluations, technology assessments, and executive alignment.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or San Jose offices; requires presence 4 days per week (Tuesday WFH)

What you will do

• Own annual and multi-year strategic planning, synthesizing inputs from commercial, product, finance, and operations teams into cohesive strategy.
• Identify emerging opportunities in AI infrastructure and GPU cloud; develop frameworks for investment, build/buy/partner decisions.
• Lead competitive intelligence on hyperscalers, GPU cloud competitors, and AI challengers; translate into executive recommendations.
• Drive executive communication including board materials, CEO decision support, and alignment on strategic priorities.
• Partner on commercial strategy for go-to-market, pricing, and large deals; lead cross-functional projects.
• Evaluate strategic technologies, build partnership pipelines, and conduct diligence for M&A and synergies.
• Build market intelligence models tracking TAM/SAM, trends in AI workloads, and customer dynamics; mentor strategy team.

Requirements

• 10+ years in strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), investment banking, or corporate strategy at high-growth tech company
• Deep expertise in AI, cloud infrastructure, or data centers; ability to build market models and investment theses
• Track record translating strategic questions into boardroom frameworks and leading cross-functional initiatives with C-suite impact
• Experience evaluating AI technologies for strategic fit; familiarity with technical architecture assessments
• Exceptional communication for board-level materials; VP-level ownership in ambiguous environments
• Bachelor's in Economics, Finance, Business or related; MBA from top-tier institution strongly preferred
