Technical Program Manager (Defense)

Salary: $160,000 - $250,000

What you will do

• Lead full program lifecycle, overseeing cost, schedule, performance, and contract deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and business development.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer on contract performance, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Manage program budget, resources, scope changes, and progress reporting to leadership.
• Ensure qualified staffing and timely completion of statement of work.

Requirements

• B.S. in engineering, computer science, business or equivalent + 5+ years project/program management experience on complex projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must work onsite 4-5 days/week in Hawthorne, CA or Washington, D.C.; U.S. citizen/permanent resident with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• DoD, military, or government experience.
• Existing U.S. security clearance.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, KPIs/TPMs.
• Systems engineering or software integration background.
• Advanced technical degree.
