TL;DR

Project Controls Senior Analyst (Mission Critical): Leading cost control, scheduling, and project performance analysis for federal government contracts and mission critical infrastructure with an accent on EVM, forecasting accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Focus on managing complex cost-reimbursable contracts, audit readiness, risk analysis, and leading project controls teams.

Location: Hybrid office and construction site environments across US offices (Overland Park KS, Dallas TX, Ann Arbor MI, Cary NC, Houston TX, Tualatin OR, Phoenix AZ, Orlando FL). U.S. Citizen required for U.S. Government projects. No relocation or visa sponsorship. Occasional travel up to 25%.

What you will do

  • Lead project controls teams in cost reporting, forecasting, quantity tracking, change management, and risk analysis on complex projects.
  • Manage planning and scheduling efforts including float analysis, earned value, startup planning, constructability, and scheduling forensics.
  • Review contract language for cost and schedule requirements, provide feedback, and ensure compliance.
  • Develop project health visibility, facilitate risk and change discussions, and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Implement PJC procedures and tools, support proposals, and staff projects effectively.
  • Provide guidance to team members and support their development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or 10+ years relevant experience in cost control or planning/scheduling.
  • Deep knowledge of FAR, CAS, DCAA audits, GAAP, EVM (ANSI/EIA-748), and contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, T&M).
  • U.S. Citizen required.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle), Primavera P6 or MS Project, advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau.
  • Experience in federal GovCon, aerospace, defense, or large-scale infrastructure preferred.
  • Ability to work in office and construction site environments with physical demands and travel.

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
