Android Software Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Must be based in San Bruno, California

Salary: $123,500–$185,000

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain core user-facing features for the flagship Android application.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and cross-functional teams including UX, Product, and Quality.
• Ensure cross-platform consistency by aligning development efforts with iOS engineering teams.
• Define requirements and implement regulatory protocols for high-quality, impactful software.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of industry experience in Android mobile development
• Proficiency in native app development using Kotlin
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with modern Android frameworks like Jetpack Compose
• Familiarity with automated testing practices
• Experience with full-stack development including backend and web frontends
• Passion for UX and building public-facing applications
