Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; onsite at the Dallas office

What you will do

• Design and implement robust, low-latency systems for pricing, quoting, and hedging financial instruments including USTs, swaps, and MBS.
• Develop platforms supporting risk and P&L management for trading desks.
• Apply AI-driven analytics to sophisticated data analysis and predictive pricing strategies.
• Build high-availability, mission-critical software in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Identify the scope and impact of engineering issues and deliver complex products.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional experience with Java, C/C++, or Python.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a self-directed, collaborative engineer.

Nice to have

• Financial services or fintech experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex products with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with AWS, microservice architectures, distributed tracing, performance testing, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with UNIX operating system internals, Terraform, infrastructure as code, and networking.
