TL;DR
Customer Support Specialist III (Freight): Ensure customer shipments are delivered on time, provide daily interaction and develop relationships with customers and carriers with an accent on performance objectives and problem-solving. Hybrid in Memphis, TN 38103 or Tinley Park office, United States. Onsite training Monday-Friday for the first 90 days required, then hybrid schedule available.

What you will do
- Process shipment entries and lead timely performance/automation objectives
- Maintain professional communications, including handling difficult situations and service failures
- Exceed on-time pick-up and delivery expectations
- Supervise shipments and revise based on shipper, customer, and carrier needs
- Utilize external tools to set shipment appointments and update load statuses
- Work with Logistics Teams to resolve shipment issues
- Manage customer and carrier relationships, including detention and accessorials
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience with intermodal shipments
- Must be currently at S2 level
Nice to have
- Customer service background
- Service-related industry experience
- Knowledge of the freight industry
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree
