What you will do

  • Develop business across key accounts and generate revenue working with channel partners.
  • Manage the full sales process aligned with customer buying cycles.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships from initial meetings through proof-of-concept and post-sale expansions.
  • Develop and present proposals demonstrating how VAST solutions meet business objectives.
  • Prospect, penetrate large accounts, reach decision-makers, and close deals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years direct enterprise selling experience.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business.
  • History of developing selling regions from the ground up with limited resources.
  • Knowledge of storage industry: NFS, Object Storage, and Enterprise Computing architectures.
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with experience in both large companies and startups.
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, and ability to evangelize new technologies.
