Business Development Executive: Finding, developing, and closing new merchant partnerships on the hirify.global platform within an assigned region with an accent on consultative selling, negotiation, and deal structuring. Focus on generating new business through cold calling and prospecting, managing full sales cycles, and achieving sales targets across verticals like Beauty & Wellness, Food & Drink, and Things To Do.

Hybrid: Chicago office (35 W. Wacker Dr.)

Base Salary: $50,000 + uncapped commission & bonus opportunities (On Target Earnings: $90,000+)

What you will do

• Generate new business by cold calling and prospecting local merchants across all verticals
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and consultation through negotiation and close
• Develop understanding of merchants' businesses to position hirify.global solutions effectively
• Own contract negotiations including margins, discounts, and deal structures
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while partnering with teams post-close
• Drive market growth by improving merchant quality and revenue on the platform

Requirements

• 3+ years of business development or full-cycle sales experience required, with proven quota achievement
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and prospecting skills
• Experience with local or small business merchants strongly preferred
• Comfortable in competitive, performance-driven environments with high accountability
• Coachability, confidence, adaptability, and genuine curiosity about local businesses
