TL;DR

Customer Success Manager (AI/ML): Own post-sales relationships for enterprise AI customers working with ML engineers and research teams, with an accent on onboarding, adoption, expansion, and achieving outcomes like faster training and reduced compute costs. Focus on building CS function from scratch, orchestrating cross-functional implementation, translating feedback into product insights, and driving retention/expansion.

Location: Based in Redwood City, CA. In office 4 days a week. Relocation assistance for employees moving to the Bay Area.

Salary: $165,000 - $210,000

What you will do

  • Own onboarding, adoption, and expansion for enterprise accounts, ensuring measurable outcomes in training speed, model quality, and compute savings
  • Build and operationalize CS function: playbooks, health scoring, QBRs, and escalation processes
  • Lead post-sale relationships, orchestrating onboarding, technical implementation, and cross-functional coordination with Sales, Research, and Engineering
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights as a bridge to technical teams
  • Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate on upsell/renewal with Sales
  • Monitor health signals, drive retention strategies, and represent at onsite meetings/reviews

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or post-sale roles (ideally data infrastructure or AI/ML)
  • Experience managing technical enterprise customers; converse with ML engineers/data scientists on model training, data pipelines, infrastructure
  • Track record building CS programs from ground up
  • Strong commercial instincts for retention, expansion, NRR
  • Excellent communication: translate technical details for executives, business value for engineers
  • Comfort in ambiguity, fast-paced small team environment
