FTZ Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage the logistical, administrative, and compliance activities of the Foreign Trade Zone program with FTZ coordinators and an inventory controller.
• Ensure accurate and timely submissions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the FDA, and other government agencies.
• Coordinate FTZ operations with warehousing, logistics, sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, product and development, tax, customs, and third-party logistics functions.
• Prepare and perform audits, inventory control reports, and detailed compliance records.
• Troubleshoot complex logistics issues and meet daily operational deadlines.
• Lead, develop, and grow the FTZ team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, tax, customs, or a related field, or 11+ years of Foreign Trade Zone and customs experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 7+ years of logistics or materials management experience in a manufacturing FTZ environment.
• Customs Brokers License required.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, compliance requirements, organization, and record keeping.
• Experience with SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be legally authorized to access technology controlled under United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thomson Reuters Onesource software.
