Materials Management Supervisor (Quantum Hardware)

What you will do

• Manage receiving, shipping, asset management, logistics, and inventory control for quantum hardware development labs and global projects.
• Coordinate shipment and material-movement activities with carriers, procurement, finance, scientists, engineers, and program managers.
• Train, mentor, and develop the materials management team by standardizing processes and documenting procedures.
• Track performance metrics, optimize workflows, improve productivity, and reduce operating costs.
• Assign personnel and resources, manage workforce plans, and execute coaching and performance management activities.
• Analyze inventory procedures, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductors, or related industries.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or worker granted asylum or refugee status.
• Must not be a national of the People’s Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to lift 45 lb and pass a pre-employment drug test for this safety-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Experience with logistics, import/export processes, warehouse operations, and preparing parts for shipment.
• Experience using pallet jacks, pallet wrap, and banding tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
