What you will do
- Lead soft services operations including cleaning, café/food programs, break rooms, fitness amenities, mailroom, and wellness facilities across four buildings.
- Own IFM soft services contract: manage performance, KPIs, compliance, vendor staffing, and business reviews.
- Manage OPEX budget, forecasting, cost controls, and financial governance for services.
- Drive officing and ABW: define standards, seat allocation, occupancy analytics, and change management.
- Oversee food program performance, catering, event/meeting support, and campus cleanliness initiatives.
- Handle convenience centers, supplies replenishment, stakeholder escalations, and cross-functional partnerships with HR, IT, and Security.
Requirements
- Location: Based in San Diego, CA, US
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Facility Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10+ years in soft services, workplace operations, hospitality, or IFM; experience with large outsourced FM contracts and food programs.
- Experience supporting multi-building corporate or high-tech campuses preferred; ABW/officing experience a plus.
- Strong vendor/contract management, HACCP knowledge, data-driven improvements, and core competencies like strategic mindset and stakeholder balance.
Nice to have
- Experience with cleanroom/industrial cleaning and campus-wide events.
- Knowledge of space/occupancy operations and global CRE benchmarking.
