Senior Network Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, validate, and operate large-scale InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabric architectures across racks, rows, and data centres.
• Develop reference architectures using BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, LACP, QoS, and Clos/spine-leaf networking.
• Engineer perimeter and security infrastructure, including firewalls, NAT, VPNs, security policies, high availability, and multi-tenant segmentation.
• Build GitOps-based network automation with Python, Ansible, version-controlled configuration, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead complex escalations, root-cause analysis, incident response, runbook development, and SLO improvements.
• Improve network telemetry and observability while collaborating with deployment, data centre operations, platform engineering, systems, storage, HPC/AI teams, and vendors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of network engineering experience in HPC, AI, or hyperscale data centre environments.
• Hands-on experience with RDMA-aware networking, including InfiniBand, RoCE, OpenSM, UFM, and fabric orchestration.
• Expert knowledge of BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, Clos/spine-leaf architectures, and production platforms such as Cumulus, Nokia, or Arista EOS.
• Strong Python, Ansible, Git-based workflow, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Experience with Juniper SRX and/or Palo Alto firewalls, security policy architecture, HA design, and segmentation.
• Ability to lead senior-level escalations and collaborate with systems, storage, and HPC/AI workload teams.
