TL;DR
Strategic Partnerships Director (Private Equity): Own and grow relationships with private equity firms acquiring accounting firm portfolios with an accent on enterprise partnership agreements and standardized adoption across portfolios. Focus on building pipelines, closing deals, structuring partnerships, and collaborating with sales, customer success, and product teams to create repeatable motions.
Location: Hybrid in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in-office) or fully remote for the right candidate. Travel at least once per month.

What you will do
- Build and manage pipeline of PE firms acquiring or operating accounting firm portfolios across all tiers.
- Develop and close enterprise partnership agreements establishing as preferred practice management platform.
- Own full partnership lifecycle from outreach, relationship-building, deal structuring, onboarding, and expansion.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, and product teams to build playbooks, onboarding materials, and deployment frameworks.
- Provide market intelligence on PE channel needs, competitive dynamics, and technology trends to internal teams.
- Track and report on partnership metrics including pipeline, ARR influenced, penetration rates, and expansion.
Requirements
- 5+ years in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or business development in SaaS or professional services technology.
- Demonstrated experience selling into or partnering with Private Equity, Venture Capital, accounting firms, or professional services.
- Proven ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder deals with operating partners, C-suite, and portfolio leadership.
- Strong commercial instincts for structuring deals, negotiating terms, and closing.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence for boardroom and partner interactions.
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial to build greenfield playbook.
Nice to have
- Direct experience at or with PE-backed accounting firm or professional services roll-up.
- Existing network within PE firms acquiring accounting practices.
- Familiarity with practice management software.
- Experience structuring portfolio-wide or enterprise license agreements.
