What you will do

• Serve as day-to-day legal advisor to Marketing on campaigns, social content, creator programs, activations, and press, providing clear guidance to ship on time.
• Review and negotiate marketing agreements including talent/influencer contracts, production SOWs, vendor MSAs, licensing, NDAs, and promotional terms; create templates and playbooks.
• Own rights and clearances for marketing assets, advising on usage windows, territories, and platforms to prevent disputes.
• Advise on advertising and consumer protection laws like endorsements, substantiation, and sweepstakes, maintaining compliant guardrails.
• Track regulatory and platform policy updates, run trainings on disclosures, usage rights, and brand safety.
• Assist in other legal matters as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. (or international equivalent) and active bar membership in good standing.
• 4-8+ years relevant legal experience including copyright, trademark, right of publicity, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
• Strong contract drafting/negotiation skills for talent, production, licensing, and vendor agreements.
• Clear communication for non-legal stakeholders, actionable advice under tight timelines.
• Proven cross-functional partnership, judgment, and process creation in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA.
