Salary: $188,000 - $226,000 a year

What you will do

• Act as primary contact for procurement teams on professional services, supply, SaaS, licensing, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
• Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements with procurement.
• Manage vendor relations and develop strategic business relationships.
• Implement best practices, contract lifecycle management, and streamlined processes for compliance.
• Train procurement, engineering, and product teams on commercial matters.
• Assist with other legal issues in a lean legal team.

Requirements

• 4+ years handling commercial transactions in-house or at a law firm.
• Significant experience negotiating and drafting contracts for manufacturing/technology vendors, automotive suppliers, software, professional services, and EHS.
• JD with outstanding credentials and at least one state bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, juggle projects, and exercise business/legal judgment.
• Inquisitive, proactive problem-solver comfortable with uncertainty.

Nice to have

• Experience with OEM/vehicle manufacturing companies.
• Handling financing documents, real estate agreements, or commercial disputes.
• Drafting software license agreements.
