What you will do

• Manage and prioritize engineers' workload while promoting on-time project delivery
• Collaborate with product management to assess feature feasibility and propose alternatives
• Set measurable objectives for team and individuals, guiding achievement
• Improve processes for better project profitability and encourage innovation
• Lead resolution of key team performance issues
• Contribute to sales, customer development, proposals, and product component design

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years in client-side design and software development
• 3+ years with HTML5, ActionScript, and/or Java
• Knowledge of high-availability clustered environments
• Working knowledge of Linux, Agile methodologies, SVN, Mercurial, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to pass Security Background Investigation

Nice to have

• 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• Experience with open source technologies
• Working with geographically distributed teams (e.g., US and China)
• SQL knowledge (MySQL, CouchBase, Mongo)
• Online game development experience
