What you will do

• Manage and prioritize workload for engineers to ensure on-time project completion.
• Collaborate with product management on feature feasibility and propose alternatives.
• Set objectives for team and individuals, guiding achievement and maintaining high motivation.
• Improve processes for project planning and profitability while encouraging innovation.
• Lead resolution of critical issues and contribute to sales, proposals, and customer development.
• Design and implement key product components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years in client-side design and software development.
• 3+ years with HTML5, ActionScript, and/or Java.
• Knowledge of high-availability clustered environments and Linux.
• Experience with Agile, SVN, Mercurial, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills; able to pass Security Background Investigation.

Nice to have

• 3+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Open source technologies and SQL (MySQL, CouchBase, Mongo).
• Online game development and work with distributed teams (e.g., US and China).
