Project Controls Associate

TL;DR

Project Controls Associate (Project Management): Perform routine project controls assignments in scheduling or cost management with an accent on developing knowledge regarding industry technologies, project execution, cost, and schedule concepts. Focus on assisting in cost reporting and tracking, schedule development and maintenance, earned value reports, and critical path analysis.

Location: Overland Park, KS, US (office and construction site environments, occasional travel up to 25%). Hybrid/flexible options may be offered after first 90 days at manager discretion. No relocation or visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Gain working knowledge of industry technologies, project execution, cost, schedule, budgets, and financial systems.
• Assist in cost reporting, tracking, quantity reporting, and managing change logs.
• Assist in schedule development, maintenance, adherence reports, earned value reports, and critical path/float analysis.

Requirements

• Four-year Bachelor's degree or local equivalent required (no experience needed).
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Able to complete pre-employment onboarding: background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records.
• Willing to work in office (sitting, keyboard) and construction site environments (standing, walking, heights, extreme conditions).
