What you will do

• Lead engineering team with daily accountability, tasking, and timely project completion
• Collaborate with product management on feature feasibility and provide alternatives
• Mentor and develop direct reports while maintaining high team motivation
• Improve processes for project profitability and enforce software development guidelines
• Encourage innovation in processes and creative methodologies
• Resolve key issues impacting team performance and present creative solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years in client-side software design and development
• 3+ years in HTML5, ActionScript, or Java programming
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• Knowledge of high-availability clustered environments and Agile methodologies
• Experience with SVN, Mercurial, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
• Strong OOP, FP, components, design patterns for games/web apps
• Proficiency in JavaScript/FP language and one OOP language (Java, C++, C#, AS3)
• Excellent communication with technical/non-technical personnel
• Pass security background investigation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ReactJS, ReactNative, Babel
• Experience designing/deploying JavaScript applications
• Solid DVCS, TDD/BDD experience
• Online game development experience
