What you will do

• Receive work instructions from supervisor and load programs into CNC lathes.
• Set up fixturing, tooling, and parts following set-up sheets using operator control panel.
• Generate equipment sequences for metal removal operations with conversational programming.
• Burr, clean, protect parts; inspect and gage work in process; stamp, identify parts, and record production data.
• Maintain oil levels, cutting oils, and coolants for continuous operation.
• Operate multiple CNC lathes if needed, monitor for malfunctions, and ensure production continuity.

Requirements

• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Proficiency with measuring devices: micrometers, calipers, verniers, gages.
• Knowledge of tools: overhead crane, bench drill, hand grinder, deburr equipment.
• Ability to work with carbon/alloy steel, non-ferrous materials in various forms.
• Work with minimum supervision on standard/repetitive tasks.
• Located in Lancaster, OH, US for office-based role.
