What you will do

• Operate manual and CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints to machine materials to exact specifications.
• Plan machining sequences and select appropriate tooling for operations.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning filters and managing coolants.
• Maintain accurate measuring instruments and ensure quality control of finished parts.
• Document machining operations and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Santa Maria, CA.
• Must be able to communicate effectively (speak, write, and read) in English.
• Experience or college coursework in the machinist field.
• Proficiency in operating at least one type of manually operated mill or lathe.
• Ability to read blueprints and utilize precision measurement instruments.
• Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and alcohol screenings.
