TL;DR
People & Performance Lead (AI/Manufacturing): Run and scale the people and performance function focused on performance management, org design, and team development with an accent on coaching Team Leads, driving calibrations, and building high-performance culture. Focus on designing performance frameworks, onboarding programs, leadership development systems, and scaling processes for 200+ people while addressing underperformance swiftly.
On-site in Munich (4+ days/week in office, high-energy in-office culture).

What you will do
- Coach and challenge Team Leads on performance management, team composition, org design, and difficult conversations.
- Drive performance management including calibrations, feedback frameworks, career progression, and compensation benchmarking.
- Own org development and culture through onboarding, leadership development, AI enablement, and internal communications.
- Scale the people function by designing systems and processes for 200+ people, starting hands-on then building a team.
- Optionally get involved in talent acquisition or employer branding through performance and org design.
Requirements
- Native German + strong English (written and verbal) required.
- 3-5 years experience in people, performance, or org development in high-growth Series B+ SaaS or top startup (or 2-3 years Tier 1 consulting + startup experience).
- High standards for excellence in people, builder mindset with created frameworks from scratch.
- Structured thinking combined with execution speed, outgoing personality for building relationships.
- Daily use of AI tools, readiness for high energy and intensity; commitment to Munich office (4+ days/week).

- Network in DACH startup ecosystem (CDTM, MBB alumni, VC).
- Experience or interest in talent/recruiting.
