What you will do

  • Lead labor relations strategy and negotiations across key European markets, focusing on Germany and the Netherlands.
  • Manage engagement with Works Councils and other employee representative bodies, including drafting agreements and consultation materials.
  • Maintain oversight of active labor relations matters, deadlines, and risks across the EMEA region.
  • Advise HRBPs, managers, and senior leadership on consultation requirements and negotiation strategies.
  • Support broader Employee Relations activities, including investigations, performance management, and restructurings.
  • Develop and maintain governance tools, dashboards, and process documentation to ensure consistent case handling.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or employment law.
  • Hands-on experience with German Works Councils, including co-determination and consultation processes.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations with employee representative bodies or unions.
  • Strong understanding of German labor relations principles and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
