TL;DR

Regional Business Operations & Finance Manager (North America): Oversee entity stewardship, finance, back-office operations, and sales support for Canadian and U.S. entities with an accent on administrative governance, tax compliance, and regional sales performance. Focus on leading local teams, managing cash and vendor relationships, analyzing sales data, and ensuring alignment with global HQ in Vienna.

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid) Canadian citizenship required. Oversee office operations in Toronto.

Salary: 80-100K plus bonus

What you will do

  • Serve as legal officer and signatory for Canadian entity, ensuring statutory and tax compliance.
  • Oversee regional administrative infrastructure, vendor relationships, and back-office functions including order desk and workflows.
  • Lead local finance and back-office teams (3 direct reports), manage cash, banking, and internal controls.
  • Support sales controlling with reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and performance insights.
  • Participate in sales and management meetings, identify process improvements for efficiency.
  • Coordinate governance and reporting with HQ Vienna and external advisors.

Requirements

  • Canadian citizenship (required for legal entity officer responsibilities)
  • 7+ years in finance, business support, operations, back-office leadership, or commercial administration
  • 3-5+ years leading teams, ideally in operational finance
  • Experience supporting sales organizations financially and operationally
  • Experience with CRM and sales reporting tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis skills
  • High ownership, accountability, discretion; strong communication and stakeholder management

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Experience in international or multinational organizations
