Location: Toronto, Ontario office (Monday-Friday, option to work from home one day per week)

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 CAD + benefits

What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts including planning projects, developing estimates, assigning work, and tracking status
• Drive development process for the team: designing, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
• Collaborate and communicate across multiple development teams
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA to maintain product usability and quality
• Provide project management direction and motivation to the team
• Thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
• Postgres, SQL, data architecture (plus)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
