TL;DR

Senior Business Development Manager (Data): Leading the Data Product Line to grow the portfolio of users within the DoD Intelligence Community and international markets with an accent on capture management and proposal leadership. Focus on creating new opportunities, driving near-term and long-term data growth, and integrating customer feedback into the product roadmap.

Location: Must be located in the DC Metro Area or Aurora, CO. Top Security Clearance (TS) is required.

Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 base (OTE: $280,000 – $340,000)

What you will do

• Drive near-term and long-term data growth within the DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and international markets.
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development, and capture efforts from initial lead to awarded contract.
• Develop and execute cohesive strategies for target organizations and maintain customer engagement plans.
• Lead proposals and RFI responses, including developing win themes and technical solutions with engineering.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technology, Legal, and Finance departments on new opportunities.
• Provide direct customer feedback to influence the product technology roadmap.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance is required.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export regulations.
• 10+ years of professional experience in defense/GEOINT, with 5+ years specifically in Business Development.
• Demonstrated success capturing space business within the DoD/IC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Experience with OPIR missions and delivering to DoD/IC.
• Understanding of systems engineering processes and system architectures.
