Power Electronics Hardware Design Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design automotive inverters and DC-DC converters, including schematics, simulations, thermal analysis, PCB layouts, tolerance analysis, and worst-case analysis.
• Design gate drivers for SiC and Si MOSFETs and IGBTs.
• Design switch-mode power supplies such as Flyback, Buck, Boost, and SEPIC converters.
• Prepare and review product-release documentation, including specifications, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Define hardware-software and communication interfaces such as CAN and LIN, and perform circuit design validation tests.
• Support component sourcing, electronic component validation, and project and quality management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related area.
• Experience in power electronics hardware design.
• Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
• Experience with digital and analog circuits.
• Fluent spoken and excellent written English.
