What you will do

• Plan and execute engine or vehicle development programs
• Develop calibration datasets aligned with guidelines for key attributes
• Analyse test results and prepare recommendations
• Validate datasets for all ambient conditions in facilities and territory, including reporting
• Liaise and report to various internal functions
• Participate in vehicle test development trips as required

Requirements

• BEng in Mechanical/Automotive or related engineering discipline
• Experience in diesel emissions testing and data analysis
• Knowledge of diesel combustion engine fundamentals
• Knowledge of diesel exhaust after-treatment hardware
• Knowledge of diesel EMS and related tools/software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven project management skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams, including leading teams

Nice to have

• Masters or PhD in relevant subject
• Knowledge of diesel ICE OBD
• Knowledge of diesel aftertreatment systems
• Knowledge of data analysis tools like hirify.global Concerto
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods/tools
• Programming skills in MATLAB
