Salary: $105,000 - $155,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as technical expert for optical component fabrication processes.
• Create and improve manufacturing documentation for optical components.
• Provide hands-on support, train technicians, and execute fabrication processes.
• Monitor and optimize production processes and equipment using SPC.
• Troubleshoot processes, disposition non-conforming material, and reduce defects.
• Transfer optical fabrication technologies from R&D to production and qualify new equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Optics, or related field.
• 10+ years of optical component fabrication experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Proficiency with SPC.
• Experience with optical alignment and bonding.
