What you will do

• Lead the development of advanced mechanical designs for semiconductor test equipment, solving complex engineering challenges.
• Translate system-level and market requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical architecture.
• Drive design trade-offs across performance, cost, reliability, and time-to-market constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global suppliers to ensure alignment of technical requirements and production readiness.
• Support product lifecycle activities including design reviews, change management, and new product introduction.
• Contribute to platform-level innovation, including scalable electromechanical systems and precision docking/signaling solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6–8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in mechanical design, including CAD (SOLIDWORKS) and FEA tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation.
• Deep understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis, with practical application in complex systems.
• Proven ability to solve complex component and subsystem challenges and lead design trade-offs.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and engaging with global supply base partners.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document, present, and guide technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SEMI standards is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to ~10%.
